Issue Position: Standing Up for the Middle Class

Issue Position

It is the middle class that drives the economy in this state and country. Due to greed, policies and political influence our country is quickly becoming a two class society. We must help stimulate the middle class by helping small businesses get off the ground, through tax breaks so they are able to grow and create jobs. We must fight legislation that has been put in place which has spiralled health care costs out of control. Health care has become about 18% of the GDP in this country far outpacing the rest of developing nations by a large margin.
Small businesses could be spending on product creation and development to grow their business and create jobs instead of the increased cost of health care.
